This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of Use and the User agrees that he/she has read and understands and agrees to be bound by this Privacy Policy by accepting the Terms and Conditions of Use and/or use/access to any of the WORD MATCHING Content/Services on the Platform.

This Privacy Policy contains terms of use, disclosure, and accumulation of User information.

The user will provide certain information (including but not limited to first name, last name, email). WORD MATCHING takes reasonable steps to protect the referred information; it does not sell or trade the referred information; it only uses it in the manner specified in this document. Besides, WORD MATCHING will not provide a guarantee that such information will be protected from unauthorized use or disclosure. Users are required to protect and maintain the confidentiality of their personal information.

WORD MATCHING shall not be liable for any damages, losses, costs, or adverse results in connection with such unauthorized use or disclosure (including, without limitation, name, email address).

The user profile, language skills, and/or user name are displayed to facilitate the user’s interaction and to administer the WORD MATCHING services. Except for inviting friends and certain notifications, a user’s email address is not shared or displayed.

Users can communicate with each other regarding translation services through the comments section on the platform, without disclosing their contact information (including, but not limited to, phone number, Google Talk, MSN Messenger)

Since any information collected/shared on the Platform becomes “public information”, Users must be careful to disclose their personal information.

WORD MATCHING may share Client Materials with potential Translators, for the sole purpose of allowing them to preview the content to decide whether to fill the translation order. In this regard, Users are solely responsible for editing or removing any confidential or personally identifiable information in Client Materials if Users do not wish to disclose such information.

WORD MATCHING may store and retain user information, including personal information related to services provided on the Platform. The stored information will not normally be deleted, even if a user deletes their account. However, WORD MATCHING does not assume any obligation and guarantee to archive / save the information referred to and does not guarantee that the information referred to will subsequently be made available to the respective User.

Users’ personal information may be used for advertising, marketing, service improvement/enhancement/operation, research, statistical analysis, auditing, and any other communication activity.

WORD MATCHING may not share the user’s information with third parties, except in the following cases:

– with translators to provide translation services,

– under the legal requests of the courts and other legal authorities,

– to comply with the law or to protect your rights / interests / property / services / Platform,

– if WORD MATCHING assigns or transfers its rights, warranties, or obligations to any third party,

After notification and written consent from the User, WORD MATCHING and/or other third parties having a contractual relationship with WORD MATCHING may be informed and introduced to new services, promotions, campaigns, or similar matters for advertising and information purposes via SMS and/or e-mail or any other communication tool, in connection with the Platform and its contents/services. If the User does not consent to the above notifications, the User may inform WORD MATCHING as a result of his request to leave his assigned membership for advertising and information purposes on the Platform.

On the other hand, WORD MATCHING reserves the right to notify the Users regarding service announcements, service management.
